WTD: RRS HSE "55, 06 -56"

After a long chat with my accountant I've decided to no longer run contract hire vehicles through my company, I couldn't live with the tax situation, especially on a Range Rover.

So this put an end to the great contract hire offer I'd got from Lex - the BIK tax was more then the vehicle rental!

So I'm looking to buy something myself and run it privately. Due to my unique personal credit history I'm not able to get finance and am looking to buy outright. Therefore my budget is low £20k's.

I'm not bothered if it's petrol or diesel, except I don't want the 4.4 petrol - If I'm going have the fuel bills I want the performance to match!

Must haves:-

HSE
Black interior (two messy dogs)
Petrol - under 45,000 miles
Diesel - Under 60,000 miles

Preferences - but not deal breakers:-

20" rims
No black windows
No drug dealer aftermarket rims or any other adornments - standard only please.

Colours in order of preference

Grey
Silver
Green
Teal
Blue
Red
Black

If anyone has anything they're part exchanging or any friendly dealers have anything incoming.

Having had a good browse on Autotrader there is a huge variety of whats available between £20,000 and £25,000.

Examples like this:-

Do you have anything?

I'm looking to buy mid September.

We've not got anything at the moment, but remind me again when you are ready to go and I will let you know what has come in as part-exchanges.

The sort of thing you are looking at would not necesarily go onto the forecourt as it would need to pass our Approved inspection as something the preparation costs involved do not make it commercially viable. Instead those cars go to auction and are usually sold by the specialist 4x4 dealers.

That budget should get you a decent 55/06 plate. Wink

Regards,

James Thumbs Up

I'll send you an email when I'm ready to go James, Thanks

The TDV8 is an eye opener at the devon trade centre, I didn't think I'd see any of them much under £30,000
