Not something we have much experience of on here, the front screen is an part of the structural strength of the car so maybe it's been replaced at sometime.......................... the car isn't a crashed rebuild is it? 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Its a FSH ex company director car and supplied with HPi and been checked over by a police vehicle inspector pal so its all ok ect

Get a can of silicone spray and a rag and with the pipe that goes in the aerosol nozzle, have a spray in and around very joint you can get to. Your dash will creak no more. Gone - 2008 Stornoway Grey RRS 2.7 TDV6

I had the creaking noise but only twice - both times after I had the heating on. I just put it down to the plastic warping lmao and with all the other stuff I've been having it wasn't a major issue. I just crank the music up.
