2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey
Fuel economy 2010 FFRR TDv8 v 2007 RRS TDv8

Here's a sight I only saw on long motorway hauls in the RRS Tdv8, but today I drove the FFRR with the 2010MY tuing and longer 6th gear on fast A roads on the west coast of Scotland and got significantly better mpg. In the same driving conditions/ roads in the Sport I would be lucky to get 28mpg with all the uphill work.

The FFRR cruise control is nowhere near as accurate as the adaptive cruise on the TDv8 Sport - it lets the car carry away on down slopes that the Sport would hold a rock steady speed on, also in the Sport pressing resume the car would accelerate smoothly up to the previously set speed - in the FFRR the cruise forces the engine to drop one or even two gears, then overshoots the set speed and suddenly slows itself down............... maybe a trip to the dealer to get it checked out is required. The FFRR now has 2800 miles on it so there is potential for even better mpg as the engine beds in. So far no oil consumed too. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
2018 Melting Silver Mini Countryman PHEV - soon to be replaced
2015MY Corris Grey SDv6 HSE Dynamic, the best car I have ever owned, totally reliable only a cou0le of rattles in 3 years, now no longer in my care
Also in my garage is a 1996 TDi300 Defender 90 County HT made into a fake CSW
