2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey

The occupants will have to have very short legs! 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
2018 Melting Silver Mini Countryman PHEV - soon to be replaced
2015MY Corris Grey SDv6 HSE Dynamic, the best car I have ever owned, totally reliable only a cou0le of rattles in 3 years, now no longer in my care
Also in my garage is a 1996 TDi300 Defender 90 County HT made into a fake CSW

Shocked Npinks is bang on, i would not like to think of my kids in the back of mine should it have a rear end shunt from a HGV, the rear area is a crumple zone and i dont mind my suitcase getting crushed but nothing else.

It looks unsafe, poorly engineered and not very elegantly installed to me. I don't have kids but I wouldn't put anything of value in that contraption. Insurance companies have a field day with that type of modification. If your kids get injured, you have saved 1300 quid....I would think again if I were you. I don't think anybody is having a pop at you and your seating solution (which I now see you have removed the pic) but just airing a general concern over it and it function as a seat with in what could be a crumple zone

No offence was intended on my part Thumbs Up

I've seen a better conversion Whistle

do a google for Discovery Exclamation

Good to see some independant thinking and solution but not one for me.
One of the reasons I went for the RRS was it had only had 5 seats. No being used as the local taxi service or the kids wanting to sit in the back all the time with the extra hassle of getting them in and out.

My youngest can have travel sickness sometimes and facing her the opposite way to the direction of travel would certainly make it worse
