Pistonheads is pretty good at the moment, but it needs to be priced right.

We've just sold a black 11my Demo for £50,000 so it's about right. The only issue is the age and mileage will raise suspicion as to why it is being sold, although as we know on the forum there is a genuine reason for the sale.

With the bad weather coming in, and a huge shortage of new RRS due to the engine supply problem then you may find that it goes quite quickly. It all depends on how much you want to spend on speculating. If I were you I would work out the new 'on the road price' then advertise at £48,995 and show what the saving is. I would also state that it is being sold as it is a replacement for another vehicle, however is no longer required. I would advertise on Pistonheads, Top Marques and I would also probably put a one-line ad in the weekend motoring supliment of the Times and Telegraph.

Good luch with it!

I used to be a die hard Autotrader freak, but now would use Pistonheads for everything else - unless it was a bog standard Mondeo or Rover 75 ( Laughing )

When I thought of selling mine - I had 40 calls in 5 days and 5 offers of the asking price, before I decided I couldn't sell - may be selling it afterall as looking for a new RRS in Fuji (yes I have the white bug) so Pistonheads will be my first choice again.

And like Jimbo said, demand for the RRS is huge right now and dealers (indies) are trying to stockpile them for the coming months - just look at turbocentre, they have loads for sale....and they will sell them

Whats the problem with engine supply at the moment? I spoke to a dealer last week and they said 3 to 4 week delivery for a brand new RRS with 3.0 litre TDV6 engine.
