Northern Lights Visible

Guys if you live up in these latitudes and it is a cloudless night tonight (and for the next couple of years!) then there is a very good chance you will see Aurora tonight. We are just entering a period of high sunspot activity and solar flares/ magnetic storms so be prepared to see a lot of aurorae, loose your Sky satelitte TV, your satnav and any satelitte communications as they are all liable to damage/interference from solar storms 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
2018 Melting Silver Mini Countryman PHEV - soon to be replaced
2015MY Corris Grey SDv6 HSE Dynamic, the best car I have ever owned, totally reliable only a cou0le of rattles in 3 years, now no longer in my care
Also in my garage is a 1996 TDi300 Defender 90 County HT made into a fake CSW

As a teenager I saw what I believe was the northern light over Leeds

A faint shimmer of green and or red light high up in the heavens on a clear starry night

Nobody believed me when I was chatting about it, even though it was commented on the local news

i was a good teenager I'll have you know Very Happy

on this day in question I was just wandering the streets, chatting (and keeping fit and out of trouble for a change Laughing ) and was up away from the street lights so got a good view of the stars

Wouldn't mind seeing them at the full intensity like those up the top end of oop' north Thumbs Up
