Dave have you checked on the LR website what connectivity your phone should have with the car's system?

Thanks. It's getting a bit crowded in the centre console cubbyhole - I've already got my iPod in there, connected via the official RR lead (works fine). I'm just really surprised no one (RR?) provides a proper cradle. 14.5MY SDV6 HSE Dynamic Indus silver/lunar/ebony 20" wheels, InControl, full-size spare, electric tow bar, adaptive xenons, adaptive cruise control, auto main beam assist. Yes, I'm really struggling to decide what to do. I want to be able to charge the phone and I feel a dash mount will help the phone to get a better signal if it's mounted higher up in the vehicle, rather than tucked away somewhere. But I'm not sure how an after-market bracket fixed on the dash will look.
