United Kingdom 2010 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Zermatt Silver
Phone fitting

I'm trying to find a cradle to fit my Nokia E72 into my MY10 RRS TDV8 HSE. I want it to charge the phone and ideally connect to an external aerial. The only cradle I've found is the Brodit, which charges but doesn't have an external aerial connection and it looks a bit bulky (although I've only seen pics so far).

Any advice would be welcome. Thanks. 14.5MY SDV6 HSE Dynamic Indus silver/lunar/ebony 20" wheels, InControl, full-size spare, electric tow bar, adaptive xenons, adaptive cruise control, auto main beam assist. Gone: TDV8 HSE; Zermatt silver/ebony, 19" off road alloys, active diff, particle filter, tow pack (it was fun) BMW 730D SE (great car, sadly missed). Ford Focus RS mk2, Ultimate green, lux pack 2, bluetooth. The start of my mid-life crisis.
IN THE GARAGE: BMW i8 - the mid-life crisis continues and it's great fun.

Dave have you checked on the LR website what connectivity your phone should have with the car's system?
http://www.landrover.com/gb/en/lr/owners/bluetooth/overview/
You need to have your car's VIN available to get the right info for the model year 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Thanks. It's getting a bit crowded in the centre console cubbyhole - I've already got my iPod in there, connected via the official RR lead (works fine). I'm just really surprised no one (RR?) provides a proper cradle. 14.5MY SDV6 HSE Dynamic Indus silver/lunar/ebony 20" wheels, InControl, full-size spare, electric tow bar, adaptive xenons, adaptive cruise control, auto main beam assist. tim, yes i have looked there and mine is supposed to work, it sometimes flickers on, then dissappears , dealer cant help - say the phone must be wonky!

i know what you mean old stager, i only have the nano in mine and you have to spend a couple of seconds poking wires back in under the lid so as not to trap them - i think it still looks better than having the phone on show.
cheers

Yes, I'm really struggling to decide what to do. I want to be able to charge the phone and I feel a dash mount will help the phone to get a better signal if it's mounted higher up in the vehicle, rather than tucked away somewhere. But I'm not sure how an after-market bracket fixed on the dash will look. Decisions, decisions... 14.5MY SDV6 HSE Dynamic Indus silver/lunar/ebony 20" wheels, InControl, full-size spare, electric tow bar, adaptive xenons, adaptive cruise control, auto main beam assist.
