I would imagine that the dealer has a way of doing it through the computer. I also consider mine to come on too late, and rarely use the auto on function. They also do not come on automatically when it rains and the light intensity doesn't drop much............ 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
