Help & advice Rrs modifications

Guys, I have finally got myself a rrs however just looking to make a few small mods to make it the perfect car!

Any help from your past experience is welcomed.

Side steps - I am about to order some, how easy are they to fit? Will I need any special tooling or ramps? Or is it a job for the garage to do?

Side indicators - looking to replace standard orange ones with clear, how easy is this to do any helps or tips?

Colour coding of wing mirrors - has anyone done this? If so did the paint the original mirrors? I took to my body shop and they were unsure if the finish would be any good and if it would chip? He has suggested that I get full covers and get them painted.

Rear lenses - I have seen some rrs with black / smoked & red rear lenses, looked good to me however haven't a clue were to buy them? Or is this a diy job that someone has done?

Thanks in advance for your help , I will be sure to post some pics once completed

I decided on the TDV6 HSE in Grey with black leather. I have already managed to get the front & rear bumpers along with the lower side skirts colour coded. I just want to complete the rest of the bits now.

I noticed that you hade clear side repeaters on yours. Did you do it yourself? How easy is it to remove & replace.
Do i just need to change the lenses or bulbs aswell?

England 2012 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Orkney Grey

Got some side steps for mine last week took between 2 -2 1/2 hrs to fit.the only tools you require are standard sockets and wrench 10mm & 13mm a screwdriver that will fit between your wheel and trim or take the wheel off.
And a tool that removes trim studs this sounds a bit brutal when your doing it but doesn't cause any damage. I put the car in off road height and had plenty of access its a bit fiddly lying on your back trying to tighten nuts Shocked but it's no way a complex job if youv'e got a bit of practical savvy Thumbs Up The steps come with comprehensive instructions aswell Now gone Orkney grey SDV6 HSE with body style kit contrast stitch ebony leather, privacy, black piano, 22" Lowenharts for summer, 20" with Leon LTZ for winter.
Here 110 black edition defender.

1. Steps are fairly easy will need a little cutting of plastic.
2. Indicators very easy just pop out.
3. Would buy covers and paint those.

So yours must be a very early, 2005/06 model.
You can get LR clear side repeaters now and as VA said above, very easy to change. Smile

During our time there were no clear LR ones so we had to modify some BMW ones!! The one you see on my vehicle is this! Laughing Malaysia Boleh!
