United Kingdom 2010 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Zermatt Silver
Picked it up yesterday

Well, it's here. First impressions are good after the first 130 or so miles. Everything seems to be working as it should so far! Couple of questions - the dealer told me service intervals are 12 months/15,000 miles, but the manual says it's condition based servicing and the Information Centre tells you when a service is due - anyone know which is right? And I've got the official RR iPod lead, which works my Nano 4th generation fine - but there is a message on the iPod screen saying "this accessory doesn't support charging" although in fact the iPod does seem to be charging! Anyone experienced this? 14.5MY SDV6 HSE Dynamic Indus silver/lunar/ebony 20" wheels, InControl, full-size spare, electric tow bar, adaptive xenons, adaptive cruise control, auto main beam assist. Gone: TDV8 HSE; Zermatt silver/ebony, 19" off road alloys, active diff, particle filter, tow pack (it was fun) BMW 730D SE (great car, sadly missed). Ford Focus RS mk2, Ultimate green, lux pack 2, bluetooth. The start of my mid-life crisis.
IN THE GARAGE: BMW i8 - the mid-life crisis continues and it's great fun.

We need pics!

I also understood the servicing is 12 months/15k miles.

Out of interest what tyres did the off road wheels come with? WINNER - 2009 ‘Just Doing What It’s Designed To Do’ Award

Still early days, but I'm experiencing the same with my Nano 4G, the power level doesn't seem to be decreasing Question

There is a service interval indicator...................................... for pre-2010MY cars it works on an elapsed time/miles system rather than how hard you drive your car. You will see a small spanner icon with a number appear on your info screen - the number is the number of days to the service falling due! I'm not sure if the 2010MY cars are different. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
2018 Melting Silver Mini Countryman PHEV - soon to be replaced
2015MY Corris Grey SDv6 HSE Dynamic, the best car I have ever owned, totally reliable only a cou0le of rattles in 3 years, now no longer in my care
Also in my garage is a 1996 TDi300 Defender 90 County HT made into a fake CSW

Thanks for the feedback all.

A couple of other queries if anyone can help please: 1) I thought the ride height automatically went to "Access" level when the engine was stopped and rose again on driving away - mine doesn't do this and it's not mentioned in the manual; 2) Is it possible to turn down the sensitivity on the automatic "headlamp on" switch - they currently seem to come on every time the sun goes behind a cloud - I've already had one guy think I was flashing him to move over! 14.5MY SDV6 HSE Dynamic Indus silver/lunar/ebony 20" wheels, InControl, full-size spare, electric tow bar, adaptive xenons, adaptive cruise control, auto main beam assist. You have to manually select Off-road and access modes (not even the Big Brother FFRR can sense when you want to exit the car!) - the only time the car will lower automatically is when you get to some highly illegal (in the UK) speeds when it will lower for high speed stability.
You dealer will be able to adjust the sensitivity of your headlights automatic on system - it is common to have other cars flashing you though when you have bi-xenons. I now drive on dipped headlights all day as there seen to be too many idiots who have bad eyesight on our roads these days and don't seen to seen Stornoway Grey RRS's coming toward them in the opposite direction as they overtake a line of slower traffic................... 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

100mph IIRC, not that you really notice it, no lights or warnings unlike the FFRR I used to have which had flashing lights on the height control button and a message in the info screen to tell you it was lowering at 65mph 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

My dealer has told me it's not possible to adjust the sensitivity of the headlamp auto-on, which is a real pain Crying or Very sad 14.5MY SDV6 HSE Dynamic Indus silver/lunar/ebony 20" wheels, InControl, full-size spare, electric tow bar, adaptive xenons, adaptive cruise control, auto main beam assist.
