2010 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Chawton White

2010 RRS SC Starting Problem

Got into the vehicle about 5 miles from a paved road and depressed the Start button. Nothing! Put my foot on the brake and depressed. Nothing!

Exited the vehicle, locked it and then unlocked it. Tried again. Nothing.

Got out the manual and while looking for any hints about interlocks etc, I would try every 30 seconds or so. All of a sudden, after a passenger had entered and closed a rear door, the ignition turned on and the Start-pedal sequence worked.

Is anyone aware of any conditions that might prevent starting? Vehicle was in Off Road Height and Dynamic Response.

Did you called your RRS a *truck* ? Cause they don't like that !
