Shocked Shocked That's just the chief exec. what about the other staff ( I understand that people are needed to disperse donations but ) add up all there wages and I wonder what percentage of money donated actually goes into help or treatment where needed???

You could argue that this is the only way they will attract good people and they need good people to make sure the charity is run as efficiently as possible and to make sure they raise the maximum amount of money they can thus they have more money overall. The salaries are a lot less than if those people worked in industry. WINNER - 2009 ‘Just Doing What It’s Designed To Do’ Award

Don't forget also that most of those guys are also not full time................. they are often only being paid for only 2-3 days a week, and they have other jobs as well. I was asked last year to put my name up for a non-executive director's job with the Port of London Authority...... for 4 days a month they were offering me 5 times my current full time job's salary, plus pension + +, the problem for me was that they also required 95% attendance rate at board meetings for that money and in my job that is impossible. Nice work for somebody................. could afford a new FFRR and a new RRS every year on what was being offered and still lived on the day job salary had they not had the attendance requirement! 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
