United Kingdom 2013 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Autobiography Stornoway Grey
New Edition Supercharged SE on it's way - Official

Heard from a friend and just had it confirmed by my dealer that Land Rover are to produce a Supercharged SE model, orders are being taken from this point onwards so expect delivery 4 months plus.

The specification will be standard Supercharger plus the following:

Stormer 20" Alloys (as per the 1st edition)
Privacy Glass
Sunroof
Lined Oak interior (as per 1st Edition again)
Revised side vents in metal, not plastic
Colour coded body kit

All this for £62,500

or for £65,000 you can have Land Rover's brand new 22" alloys. These will NOT be the Overfinch Tigers however and I have yet to see them.

The body kit will also become available as a dealer fit option for those who wish to ruin the good looks of their car!

The 'word' is that the body kit will not look very good, a bit over-blinged and like most stick on plastic work will be suffering by the time the car get's older.

I also had it confirmed that Land Rover are NOT going to re introduce Vesuvius Orange as an option, the paint is no longer made or available.

You heard it here first at RRSPORT.CO.UK!! Very Happy L319 D4 HSE

I got the tip off from NickP, so it's not all my own work! Embarassed

However, I did call my dealer to find out more, he said it was spooky that he had literally only just found out form his sales manager a few minutes before, and then I call him, he wanted to know where my microphones were hidden. Shocked L319 D4 HSE

I think Bobby posted something about it a couple of days ago... it seems to be garnering accolades pretty much everywhere, unless you are an Indy reader where they looked down their noses at it.

I like the standard spec 20" alloys, I have factory fit privacy glass, I didnt want to pay for a sunroof that would'nt get used, I'm happy with the interior finish - SO - that just leaves some new fancy side vents & a BODY KIT Shocked ........ HHHmmmmm Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes whats so " SE " about this?

I don't get the naming convention. To call a Supercharged an SE, implies to me that the spec is lower than an HSE - which it obviously isn't to those in the know. I seem to recall that that was one reason why Land Rover adopted the "Vogue" title for the highest spec models. Surely calling it RRS Supercharged Vogue would be better (or would that put off the people who buy Range Rover Vogue's for oodles of money).
