Detail & paint repair

I want to get my RRS back into top condition, it has a scuff on the front bumper (car park barrier) and a chip on the strip above the number plate (low car park roof Rolling Eyes ).....

Is there anyone who would sort these out AND give it a good detailing or do I need to go to 2 different places?

Do LR dealers offer detailing?

Detailer should be able to both as long as scuff isn't too deep into the clear coat. Chip can be sorted without too much bother. Get Nick (pinks) to recommend someone up your way

Nick,

That's who I used last time, it was a good job but he could only get out very light scratches

As a rule of thumb if your finger nail catches the scratch it can't be polished out

He might have a contact who could repair/respray the scratch and then he polishes it afterwards Idea

United States 2009 Range Rover Sport 4.4 V8 HSE Santorini Black

Ok, I just posted this on the www.fullfatrr.com site but will post on here. I have 2009 RRS and my wife
has a 2008 full size. Our dog jumped up on both doors (front & Passenger) both cars. Scratches but not thru clear coat. I tried the over-the-counter clear coat scratch remover and orbital polisher and it did a horrible job. Took to my local body/paint shop and they used 3000 grip wet dry sand paper and then polished it and they are gone!! Learned a lesson, let the pro's do it. PS they told me Range Rover uses a lot of clear coat so can prob be done a few times. Cheers! mike murphy
