New Stereo Options

Hi Guys,

having some problems with my RRS HSE CD Player. Has been into Land Rover and they have sent it off to an audio specialist. For some reason the CD eject button isn't operating correctly. When you press the button it makes contact but the cds won't eject. I have tried ejecting through the menu system but this seemed to cause the whole thing to pack in and get 'cd error' whenever I turn it on. Land Rover aren't sure what has caused this or how to fix it. They are giving me the option of purchasing a brand new system but this is big money!

Are there any alternatives I can get for the RRS? I looked at getting just a ipod to speaker interface connection like Connect2 but I can't seem to find one for the RRS?

If anyone can help please let me know Thumbs Up

Cheers
Jas

We had this problem in the early days and it was attributed to a software error.

The solution was to complete a battery disconnect/hard reset and then upload the latest software to

From memory £75 fitted, but I was an unhappy bunny at the time so this may have been a subsidised price Whistle Whistle L322 Big Daddy SUPERCHARGED 5.0 Autobiography - Here & Now!

Aren't the radios linked to the car's network for security reasons, so whatever you fit will need to be enabled by a dealer, however if you buy your own replacement I'm sure a dealer would fit it and enable it for an hour's labour charge! 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
