Leeds,

You can update to OS4 now via ITunes. You may need to update your iTunes to 9.2 so all in all it may take a couple of hours to do both.

Quite a few nice new features, such as digi-zoom on the camera, ability to create folders for your apps, geo-tagging of your photo's, multitasking (so you can go from email to contacts, to photo's and then back to where you were in email), wallpaper feature for the desktop and the applications open by zooming in and out.

If you're tempted by and IPhone 4 then update your 3Gs to OS4 and that will keep temptation at bay for a short while!!

I don't think the limited data will effect people

The popular tariffs get 500-750mb per month

I have only used 750mb since January 2010 when they replaced my phone.

costing £170 for the phone for my upgrade as I am a 2nd phone on a business tariff. The 1st phone will cost £30 to upgrade

I got mine on Thursday on 02 business and have the following issues

1) Signal is poor in the left hand
2) OS is identical to my 3gs which i updated on Tuesday night
3) Flash is poor quality but camera picture generally is better
4) limited data comes into effect from October. At that point 02 are changing ALL tariffs to reflect that so once your out of your contract period they will write to you and tell you your tariff is changing and free data is being withdrawn. Voda and orange have announced identical terms. Just something we will have to accept i guess
5) Phone quality is better than the 3Gs but i like others am not keen on the shape. The square shape makes it more un comfortable to hold and it is much heavier in my opinion. Battery life appears to be worse also.

Honestly, worth getting if your due an upgrade, other wise, stick where you are

oh, and one more thing, i cant get it to keep the bluetooth connection. i.e every time i get in i have to re-pair the phone. My 3gs used to do that but a Btooth update did correct it. Back to square one. Any one else got this issue?

Got mine on day one. Very pleased with it but I was upgrading from a 3G not 3GS so appreciate the enhanced processor speed.

Minimal differences really but it just seems slicker. Call signal is vastly improved and speaker clarity and reception all much better.

I tried every way possible to hold the phone in a way which would drop the signal but just couldn't recreate the supposed antenna issue. I even held it cupped in my hands for a few minutes to try and force a signal drop but it remained at full signal and this at my home where the signal can be flaky at times. All in all it's a really nice piece of kit but if you already have then 3GS it's probably not worth an early upgrade fee unless there is some hidden amazing functionality that I am missing.

Slightly off topic but I am loving my iPad. Work laptop never leaves the house now the iPad is just too good. 3G version is a must as is any software that can convert your DVD collection for mobile HD movies. Top notch:-) WINNER - 2009 Best Newcomer Award

Will try my iPhone when we get home but I'm also loving my iPad, my Mac book pro hardly gets used now. Only down side is the lack of flash player which is a pain in the arse, but that's about it. And wish they would launch an Office package for it too....

Nick there are several apps available that can work with Office files if I understand correctly. I believe Keynote can be used to create slides for example which can then be dropped into Powerpoint. There are also spreadsheet and word processing apps that can do the same but I haven't tried any of these yet. WINNER - 2009 Best Newcomer Award

You need to be a bit careful with iWorks using MS Office as it can Censored up the formatting. There are issues between iPad iWorks and the Mac version too, particularly in Keynote. Porsche Cayenne S Diesel 66 Plate
