Hi Chaps, new to this forum so hi .
I have just brought an htc touch pro 2 phone. It pairs to car ok. BUT no audio at all, radio stays on etc phone makes call but no sound at all. Garage say its the phone, the software in car is up to date car is an 2008.
Tried a friends HTC in the rr sport and it does the same! both phones work in audi and merc.
I am at a loss as to what to do next to resolve this issue...does anyone have similar problems and discovered a solution please...

strange. I have a MY 2007 TDV6 HSE and I have had the stealers update the bluetooth software. I have an HTC Hero / G2 Touch. Works perfectly in the car. My Previous phone - a Nokia N95 did the same as your fault but only after the dealer did the bluetooth update - yet the HTC is Ok If you see a bandwagon - it's too late.....

I have the HTC Lengend and it works perfectly My previous Nokia was always

Response from HTC after mailing them.
This could be a incompatibility of software between you car kit and our device and ate the momment there is no rom update availabe to fix this issue.

So the change car or phone answer wins!

Changed phone to HTC Desire and it works fine. Android based not windows. So my IT chap tells me.
