I'd say a must is being very careful where you eat and always wash/sterilise your hands before eating, especially after touching their money! And don't forget to haggle, they will try and rip you off in most places! I've been three times now. WINNER - 2009 ‘Just Doing What It’s Designed To Do’ Award

Agree with the diving, if you've never done it before do a free trial that all of the hotels invariably offer (only about 5 minutes), and if you like it, you're already in one of the best places in the world to learn properly.

I go a few times a year, my other half used to work in Abu Dhabi - and we love going back to Dubai - granted it's more expensive than London now (where isn't!) We stay at Dar Al Masyuf at Al Qasr, part of Jumeirah Group - love it there |

And whatever they try to tell you, if you're not venturing away from the Sinai peninsula, you do NOT need to pay for a visa! Alfa Romeo Giulietta 1.8::MG Montego Turbo::MGB GT::Rover Sterling::MGF::MG ZT 190+
