Anybody come across this before

2007 HSE sport .

Drivers side door will not lock also back seat drivers side door wont open.Passenger side back door works fine !!!!!!!!!!!! Tried everything in the manual , you can even hear the doors locking (or trying to) what I have noticed is when I sit in the car and activate the master lock button on the panel the black switches next to the door handles dont move on three of the doors??? Also when I try then to unlock from inside I can only open drivers and rear passenger side door.


Anyway Ive parked her Beamer behind it so no one can get at it tonight and put the Rotwieller in the boot for the night going to James Edward Chester in the morning as its still under warranty, do ya think they will spit their dummies out about my 22inch hawkes when repairing door switches ????

try land rover assistance, you'll still have on an 08 plat

best try that first, as they could always tow it to a secure compound and you'll be guaranteed the loan car if parts are required to be ordered in

and your insurance could be void by not locking it and the worst happening, remember a bad guy wouldn't be bothered about a rottie in the car and will just take the beemer aswell

Phoned LRA assistance and an AA man turned up , nice bloke but didn't have a clue what was wrong so ended up booking in with Dealer in morning. However ive took your advise about the dog in the car and replaced my little puppy with the WIFE lol. they wont dare take a car with her inside , but they can take her beamer with pleasure

Did they not offer to secure the car in a compound?
Still they have attended so you'll definatly get a loan car from them if the dealer can't provide

atleast give the wife a sleeping bag and make sure yor breakfast is still on the table when you awake

There is a TSB issued early this month concerning Side Door Latch Diagnostics. Point your dealer to this if he's not done so. It just might adress your issues. Malaysia Boleh!
