TDV8 Starting Issue
I have searched this site and found quite a few people with this starting issue, changing starter motors etc but noone seems to have a 100% fix.
Did anyone ever get their car permantly fixed if they had this problem ?
To remind everyone, you turn the key and just get a click, remove the key try and again, maybe several times and it starts.

I had a new starter motor fitted at about 26 months old and 31,000 miles in March this year and so far over past 2 month and 3,500 miles not a single repeat of the no start - starts first time every time since.

i had the same and Lookers replaced under warranty (about 34k miles).. it fixed the symptom you describe but... it's now returned!! i'll be booking in again when I get chance

It happens to mine too.After they replace the starting motors "TWICE" so far ...no problems.
