Some have it tough!

Just browsing through the higher class individuals forum Whistle and found this.

Quote:
On a more sobering note, I had a chat with a colleague in Qatar last night. Apparently they're almost rioting in the streets because petrol has gone up 2p a litre to nearly 14p/litre

He also mentioned that he was impressed with some of the night fires when they burn off all the petrol they can't store

What is the world coming to Big Cry

crikey that is old, when i started driving it was £1.40/1.50 a gallon!!! i had a mini pick up with a leaky petrol tank, i ended up getting about 20mpg cos most of it ended up on the road but i couldnt afford to replace it on my £35 a week (good wage back then, lol)

at £5.50 a gallon , i now fill up on a cold day so i dont lose as much vapour!!! Laughing
cheers
