Well i was driving back from the north of Scotland,just been on the road for 10 miles over took three cars on the A9 when i started to lose power.
Pretty frightning i had to swerve into a lay bay on the opposite side of the road as the car just shut down.
Called Landrover assistance they were very good got someone there within 30 mins,then towed to Inverness to the Dealer.
Could'nt believe it when someone said you can't bring your sport in here were are to busy,anyway luckily i have a friend there who said it was ok
Enterprise car hire had only a freelander for me i said its not big enough for what i need they said thats not there problem!!
So i have been told today that my turbo is ceased dont know when it will be fixed,cant get me a bigger 4x4.
I only bought the sport in Oct,the dealer in Glasgow keeps fobbing me off when i get GEARBOX FAULT saying they did'nt have the software ,also sometimes the car would only do 50mph and a fault came up saying RESTRICTED PERFORMANCE,all they say is lock and unlock the car and it will clear.
Not impressed with there service!!

And be thankful you got offered a Freelander straight off. I told them I needed an auto as after an accident I struggle to use a clutch and they called me and offered me a Ford Fiesta manual. I was without a car for 7 days waiting for a decent auto Freelander. So far Ive had 2 Freelanders, an X-type Jag and a Disco before I sold the car back to dealer after 8 weeks off the road. Mine was an 09 though. Current, M135i in Estoril Blue with more extras than the cast of Ben Hur.

There's an assurance programme which has recently started, calling all 10MY cars back for downloads etc.

Unfortunatley we have had a few cars with problems although once this work has been caried out, fingers crossed everything should be sorted.

Sorry to here about your turbo fault, is it a turbo or sensor?

Yes i phoned them again it's the turbo for sure and they don't know when they can fix it.
Managed to get a RRS 2.7 hire vehicle must have really annoyed them in the end.
Really miss my new 3.0,what a machine.

Anyway fingers crossed they can sort it soon,been on to Landrover customer service chasing the turbo,so they are getting me on the phone every other day now for updates.

Found someone really helpfull in Landrover customer service she has been fantastic chasing up my turbo and i have a date next Thursday it will arrive into the dealer and should have the beast back within a week  Range rover vogue 3.6 tdv8 Gone

Well still no Turbo fixed they promised me a week ago they would have the turbo ,oh yes that arrived but now they are saying it's a pipe that connects to the turbo and they can't find it they said they have sent 10 different pipes up and none fit.
They dont have a part number for this either.
So i have contacted landrover customer service and said i want a new car,i have nearly lost my life twice now in this,so we will see what they come up with.  Range rover vogue 3.6 tdv8 Gone
