Motorola incar phone systems

Has anybody got one of these fitted to any vehicle?

I saw it on a D3 recently 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

No - but I have used the company selling them many times & found them to be excellent/prompt & very competative.

Phone is a free upgrade from MMO2 - a Motorola V3i..... is somewhat more complex than my simple Nokia 6310i and I have yet to be able to silence an alarm that tells me the GPRS signal has died......... other than by switching off the phone! 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Go in to the Main menu,
Settings,
Network,
Service Tone and set that to off

Tim if can get a Nokia phone then i think you should get the Nokia 810 its a much better kit. The best thing about it is that it has a sim access profile witch will read your contacts & message off your phone. Saving you looking down at the phone when ever you want to make a call. you can do all this on the car kit.

Jay I love Nokia phones, but apart from the 9000 series communicators, Nokia don't market any quad band phones. I really wanted the latest Blackberry but that meant changing my tariff to something extortionate for the small amount of use my mobile gets. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

For a man who sales the 4 corners of the world I can understand why you would need a QUAD band mobile. If you prefer Nokias Tim then keep an eye out for their forthcoming releases during this year. All the specs etc can be seen here http://www.nokia.co.uk/nokia/0,,18062,00.html

I have been happy with all my nokias and recently obtained for me and mrs MDP 2 x N70's and must say they are great. They work fine on bluetooth in the RRS, but they are only tri-band.

If I were you take a look at the forthcoming N80 ( due out soon ) it is QUAD band and has a 3megapixel camera as well see it HERE I think i'll be swapping to this as soon as it out.

The 6125 is also Quadband see it here 6125
