Really liked the A6 and rhe awesome DSG gearbox, thankfully dealer let me have a 36 hour test drive. I tried the seat in every conceivable position but had a dull ache in the bottom of my spine.

At the end of my test drive got back into my Kia Sorento and although it did not feel as nice and taught the pain just eased away.

Also tried a 5 series and did not seem to be able to get comfortable, thankfully the seats in my 911 actually feel softer and I can drive that without any real problems.

Interstingly as mentioned above I have the fat OEM mats in 2010MY RRS HSE and I have the front squab as low as it will go and I have manageged or get an ache free driving position.

I find that its really comfortable to drive, but my wife finds the passenger front really uncomfortable. She has back and neck problems, the headrests don't adjust and push her head forward. As for the rest of the seat passenger side doesn't have as many adjustments as the drivers seat and she can't get it right. My discovery 2 however was comfortable to drive and as a passenger, she had no problems with that car at all, or the p38 I had before it.
