pairing nokia n97 with phone kit - help!!

hi all,
anyone got an n97 nokia to pair with a 2010 yet?? my phone recognises the land rover phone kit in the car but the display just says phone not connected, it did show up the dialing numbers for a split second once or twice, but since then - nothing! anyone any tips on what i may have forgotten to do??

Not the same i know but some days my 95 pairs with MY09 and other days it doesn't - sometimes it totally gives in and i delete pairing - re 'pair' and it becomes more reliable for a while.

Delete and try again if you haven't ?

Mine pairs with everything, try to answer in Kitchen and it connects to RRS, Daughters Aygo, MY59 wifeys Toybota, anything but my ear purple people eater

mine does that as well, it says in the handbook it has a range of 30meters!! if a call comes in i have to answer it on loudspeaker!!

havent tried it with wifes iphone yet, i still have six months contract on mine

not so much phone sits in cradle in car, but car sits on phone!!
remember about thirty od years ago my mates dad was a QS and his car phone was the size of a briefcase and had a proper old 70s hand set with a curly lead!!

Make sure you do the latest software update on the phone.

My N96 would always pair with my MY09 RRSTDV8 but no contacts
My 97 works perfectly. MY12 Black HSE SDV6
like everyone else in Luxembourg.
