Can anybody please help with a really simple problem?

I am a new RRS owner (2006 TDV6 HSE) and love the car to bits, but I have found that the in-dash multichanger CD player does not eject.

I have prised off the button and stuck a pin into the hole, and doing that it will eject properly, however it looks as if the plastic point on the reverse of the button is just not long enough to activate the eject function when the switch is pressed.

Does anyone know if it is possible to source a new button, or if there is a quick fix? I would prefer not to spend the £300 on a recon unit that LR want just because of 2mm of missing plastic.
