Sorry about the sad news mate.

The clay is for removing any deposits from the paint and gets it back as smooth as glass again - it's a working clay you lube with detailer spray and rub it over the bodywork - and will make it like new in terms of a showroom feel to the paint. Either get the Autoglym kit or Meguires - about £25 for the kit - which will include clay, rapid detailer and a cloth. I prefer the Autoglym kit myself.

Brad will tell you, the paint is as good as new and after a good wash and polish, and then a wax, you're all set.

JC1 where is Berks are you mate?

Yep, paintwork looked as new, especially in yesterdays sunshine and got that lovely smooth as a babys bum feel, that's the car, not Nick.

Laughing

Thanks guys....it takes a lot of hard work - even though I'm in the office today I'll have a quick whizz (the car not me!) around the car when I get home later today.....best thing is, when the car is clean and looked after I am finding it more easy to look after......

I'll post some pics up later of the Figaro yesterday.....it's looks amazing too ( a little gay when I drive it) but still a head turner! Thumbs Up

Nice to have met you this morning Nick, weather was spot on for some nice pics!

Thanks for the cloths, came in handy already as some seagull used the car as target practise...

268 miles today and averaged 28 mpg, can't complain with that.

Buddy, is that RRS Autobiography S/C? Vadim A.

Hi Vadim,

No, mine is a TDV8, it has a lovely V8 rumble to it as well.

Very well. Beautiful car! Congrats! I am waiting for my RRS Autobiography S/C. Called my dealer few days ago, they said I should get it around 28 June. Once I registered on this website, I have read many negative reviews, which to be honest scared me and I was even considering to cancel my order. However, I do understand this site is biased, like any other, since people come on here mainly to find solutions to the problems with the car.

Anyway, how are you liking your new driver, bradtarga34? Any issues? Did you have any electronic problems or anything of that sort?

Regards, Vadim A.

Mate half of it will be enough to do the whole car - just get tear it off, warm it in your hand, work it into about 3-4 cm in diameter, spray the clay side and the body panel, being quite generous, and just rub it over the paint - doesn't matter which way you do it, up and down, side to side - then wipe off the excess - and look and feel how smooth it feels!!!!
