United Kingdom 2010 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Santorini Black

Hi All,

Thanks so much for all the replies - really helpful! Reason for asking is that i currently have a car that sucks fuel - but it always soes better and manufacturer stated figures even so, so i wondered what the score was with the RRS - seemt to be pretty accurate!

2010 Range Rover Sport 3.0 TDV6 HSE Santorini Black

After my XJ8 (14/18 mpg), my new RRS will be an economy champion…

Fuel Economy

Just wondered about the fuel economy...my 2.7TDV6 is averaging about 19mpg (mostly town driving). Didn't expect it to be fantastic but maybe not this low. Father in law has the same RRS (07) and his averages 30mpg on the same sort of drives. Has he got a magic engine or is mine exceptionally poor?

Real MPG/Fuel econony.

Lordv Fenham here:-

Mine is an 08 v8 3.6 model.

Only had the vehicle about 5 weeks so I am trying to gauge the average mpg at the moment...

However:-
Stated consumption. Urban/quiet Town and some motorway.
Usual drive. Urban as above; usually short trips.
Actual average. I would say 22 to 24 on T.Diesel engine.

I haven't reset the consumption button either but I would say about 22/24 to the gallon.

Hope this helps..

Fenham.

Ha ha! His right foot is no more magic than mine! He doesn't hold back when out in his. I'm not as heavy footed as the figures suggest!
