Scotland 2006 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Rimini Red
Gearbox Woes

It appears as if the gearbox is selecting the wrong gear when pulling away. Only happens after the car has sat a while but not every time.
Feels as if it's in one gear to high, vey sluggish and no power. It's entirely possible that it isn't the box at all and some electronic gremlin. Feels a bit like being in snow mode but worse IYSWIM.
Car has LR warrenty so will be going back but was wondering if anybody has experienced similar and what the out come was.

Thanks

Australia 2008 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Stornoway Grey

does this happen in both 'standard" and 'sport' mode? I find standard quite sluggish so normally drive in 'sport' mode which always takes off in 1st gear rather than 2nd gear, which is normally the case in 'standard'. 2008 TDV8, Stornoway Grey with Alpaca premium leather, Adaptive cruise, Adaptive Bi-xenons, sunroof, Premium Nav, Premium ICE Logic 7, telephone, active locking rear diff, console coolbox, seat memory, powerfold mirrors, tow pack, window tint, dual battery, engel fridge, Goodyear Mud-Terrain tyres.
