After months of waiting I have finally put down a deposit today.

Buying an 06 TDV6 HSE, Java with ebony, factory privacy and 20" stormers, 1 owner, 38k miles, can't wait.

Buying from Stratstone in Slough, I haven't been anywhere near Slough for months but happed to turn up the same day the car arrived and saw it before it was advertised etc.

My dealings with Stratstone have been absolutely fine so far and pretty brief as I need to go and drive the car having only looked at it briefly.

Although not buying from LPR I would like to say a big thank you to James, and particularly Matt for their help over the last few weeks. Matt has kept me up to date with cars they have coming in and has gone out of his way to help wherever possible. Sorry we weren't able to do business this time guys but a big thank you and there's always next time!

Well done fella. My car is going into them next week for some work to be done. Live about 15 miles from Slough so thats my local Stratstone and I brought mine for one of there dealers in Scotland last week...

Very similar motor to what I got although mine had slightly higher mileage. Out of interest what sort of money did you pay ? PM if you prefer to not go public or not at all if you would rather not disclose.

I've been in mine for nearly a week now and it is the best motor I've ever had. Enjoy

Marty, don't mind saying what I paid but would rather wait until its all done and I actually have the car.

Having not driven the car I've got to go in and drive it, check it over, sort any paper work and then just arrange a delivery date.

It hadn't been cleaned when I saw it and still looked immaculate. Am now just trying to remember the full spec, do they have auto headlights and wipers etc etc etc.

Understood. Having just done a very good deal with Stratstone in scotland on one of these - very similar car by the sounds of it I will drop you a pm with what I paid etc...and what the deal looked liked. Might help to give you some ammunition when negotiating. Good luck

I'm just on the verge of getting the same sort of age RRS as you guys have/are buying. Have not found anything suitable in Slough although they are my nearest as well. Have also spoken to a dealer in Scotland and am consideing a TDV6 HSE with Dynamic from there, also on the list is a Buckingham and a Lugano from nearer home, I can understand not posting that info but any chance you could pm me with the sort of prices you've paid so I can see if I'm doing OK ? No problem if not though.

I got mine from Stratstone at Houghton le Spring near Durham about 3 weeks ago now; second hand but with 15k miles. U won't reget it at all. I'm delighted with mine - really am.

U feel regal in a rr/sport or saloon.
