Land Rover Safari for adults is not far away at Dunkeld, and if you have mountain bikes then Glen Tilt has some nice cycle rides. Best person to contact would be 4Wheeldriver as he has a "Hoose wi wheels" too.

If you are really lucky the local RRSport rep Whistle Whistle might even have organised a day trip out round the General Wade Military Roads by then! But he can also do bespoke drives for something to do! Ask Ash555.

One word of warning, House of Bruar is just up the road, lock up the wife's credit card if you go to visit - they have a great restaurant/cafe but outrageously expensive clothes in the clothes shop! 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
2018 Melting Silver Mini Countryman PHEV - soon to be replaced
2015MY Corris Grey SDv6 HSE Dynamic, the best car I have ever owned, totally reliable only a cou0le of rattles in 3 years, now no longer in my care
Also in my garage is a 1996 TDi300 Defender 90 County HT made into a fake CSW

Hi Nick

Can't say I would recommend Blair Atholl after a stay there last August! We had a serviced pitch but the way it was set up the water didn't drain away very well and tended to back up a bit in the pipe!

The shower block left a bit to be desired with muddy floors and cold showers! Well lukewarm then!

Pitches themselves were muddy and in serious need of some new hardcore/gravel on them to cover the mud up!

Wouldn't really say it was worth the money for the state of it! That was the 1 that connected to the castle but if memory serves there is another across the road about 200 yards to the south end of town but I can't for the life of me remember the name of it!

Sorry for the negative view mate, but saying it how it was last year! Hopefully they've tidied it a bit since then!

All reviews welcome Thumbs Up

I can shower in the caravan if it's needed Wink

Speaking to them today they have familiy sized pitches, grass or hard standing are these safe for kids as the river looks to be running directly behind them, and I'll have a 1yr old toddling then, and my brothers 2yr old and last thing i'ed want is them to have access to a river if they slip away from sight for 10 seconds

The site is in a horseshoe shape. If you end up on the left of the main building on the serviced pitches at the top then there's also the railway to contend with too. Don't think there's much danger of getting near the river to be honest! There's a much more interesting grass play area in the middle at the rear of the toilet block. (BYOBR by the way)

We had an 8 and 13 year old with us and they never even knew there was a river nearby yet! Current, M135i in Estoril Blue with more extras than the cast of Ben Hur.
