It's got to be the Audi S4 or RS4 then. The S4 is insane enough to give you hours of fun and the quattro grip is phenomenal even in the snow and ice we've recently had.

Mine's the 4.2 V8 version and although I've not tried the new V6 supercharged the figures are very similar. The ride is firm but comfortable. Don't get one of these though if you intend to give it the beans all the time and still want it to return a sensible MPG figure. When I'm being sensible with mixed town/rural (hilly) and motorway driving I get an average of 23.4mpg. If I start really enjoying the car that figure halves.

I jumped from the RRS partly for the same reason as you and although I do miss the RRS the S4 is a fabulous alternative. Current: I can't say...Oh the Shame!

It all depends what you want from your car doesn't it...?

There's nothing wrong with the new M3 and although DCT seems a bit niggly (personally I had no issue with it on the car I played with, but there are reports of unusual behaviour, still not as bad as the original SMG)

I used to own an E46 M3, and have driven both coupe and saloon variants of the V8 version and while it's great for inducing a grin, I think it's a bit more grown up than the E46. Not quite so much of a hooligan and it's an M car so it should have that tattoo of a spider web on its neck really Wink

That said, there's worse things to have on your drive (e.g. the Poxymobile) so if you want one go for one - I think we're all appreciative enough of cars in general on here to not just tell you to stay with your RRS Rolling Eyes
