Rear passenger air vents - how do they work?

As the temperature continues to drop this week, I have noticed that the back of the car is freezing cold despite cranking the temp up.

I checked the rear air vents and they don't appear to work. Obviously I have opened them Rolling Eyes but there is just no air flow from them.

I have tried manual and auto air, all three vent position switch combinations and still nothing.

Anyone help?

Maybe if there is a setting that you can clearly feel the air coming out on your RRS, then let me know so I can be sure in the first instance I have a fault.

After then......help!

i found this and the only way to get warm air from the vents is to turn it to auto, the use the directonal buttons on the left hand side, select the face vents, or all, and it should then blow warm. It still stays in auto but you only get on light one the auto button instead of two.
hope this helps

Cheers yogi, will get out there tomorrow and give it a go - auto AC don't you just love it Big Cry

Give me three controls, a red blue turny one, a clicky blow one and a fridge button - that's it

Don't start me on Auto AC, I have NEVER got it to do what it promises -Auto climate, multi zone, sunshine compensation......my 4ss! Never in any car have I been able to set it at 21 or 22 and forget it - it either cooks you or freezes your @^&% off - I know it has to 'balance' the temp by using hot and cold, but come on I can't keep changing between my Speedos and survival suit until it finds a happy medium Evil or Very Mad
