England 2006 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Java Black
Opinions please gents.....

Hi everyone
I've been seriously looking for an HSE for a good few months now, without much joy! Been to test drive today a
2006 (56) plate 2.7 HSE
Cairns Blue
Ebony Leather
Running boards
Privacy
19" HSE alloys
52K miles
Full service history
12 month warranty
(None LR) Dealer is willing to refurb all alloys (currently minor damage), fit new brake pads, service

Wont budge below £24,799. So what do you think? missed out on a few through dragging my heels, wouldn't believe how hard they are to find around manchester area. Any thoughts welcome ? slightly concerned colour may be a problem when time comes to change. Thanks Jon.

mate, mine is a 2.7 TDV6 HSE - 56 plate (07 model year) with 53K miles on it - ok with a few nice visual bits on - but without the all important 12 mont warranty....mine will now get £27k privately - so bite this guys hand off...if the colour makes you happy - just do it Thumbs Up

ps I would buy a red one if it was cheap enough and have it wrapped - it's that easy these days....

Sounds Like a good deal BUt I would STRONGLY advise you have an HPI check and an AA inspection carried out on the car before handing over the cash. They will spot if there is anything wrong i.e. It's got outsatnding Finance or has been a right off and in the case of the AA if it's had significant Accident damage repaired. Worth a few quid for peace of mind IMHO. Hope it all works out Thumbs Up 2013 Discovery HSE Luxury - 3.0 SDV6 - Santorini Black

Nick

Funny you should say that I asked (don't mention what I said) if he could do it Matt White and that was about £1500.

At the time he had a Porsche in that had been done pearl white, which he was removing it as the car was being sold and the guy wanted to go back to black.

Always wondered about how the paint would be after removing the wrap and for £250 he moves it and polishes it look just like normal, you would never of known it had been wrapped.

Well worth thinking about. Thumbs Up

Well you can get the Matt wrap as well as a Gloss one - Gloss might look better and more natural - from cars I have seen that have had the wrap removed - just a good clay and some AG Super Resin Polish would suffice.

Worth doing and you would kinda feel like you had a new car of sorts....always think SL's look great in white. The black wheels would be better, but only if you didn't have the Multispoke AMG wheels - 5 arm AMG's in black would look great. Wish I had kept my SL now (even though it was a crap car and Merc would let me have it back after they found out it was a piece of sh**)..anyhoo....

I was also thinking a nice red. As you say would seem like a new car. Mind you the thing I love about the SL is it ticks all the box's and sounds great standard.
