Just bought my first 55 Reg RRS 2.7 HSE Java Black / Alpaca | |
Bought an approved 2006 RRS 2.7tdv6 java black/alpaca from a Land Rover dealership and they're delivering it this week...
This site has already proved extremely useful, as I asked them to add a couple of options before delivering it, side steps, supercharger grille & vents and 20" wheels (but they recommended selling the HSE wheels privately and buying a set online instead, to save a lot more), which I did. Picked up some genuine 20" Stormers from ebay (arrive tomorrow hopefully) so shall verify with all the help from previous threads on here, and thankfully ordered the correct centre caps after reading on here that they're different. I therefore have a set of 19" HSE with good tyres for sale (but I'll correctly put that in the wanted/for sale section shortly with pics), but wanted to ask you guys what else would you consider 'a must' to add now before they deliver it?
Given a budget doesn't permit all to be sorted right now, which would you consider the more important, given the main things (grille, vents, wheels and side steps are sorted) before it leaves the dealers ...tinting? extending warranty over and above the 1 year approved dealership one? diesel remap (2.7tdv6)? adding a colour coded Range Rover rear trim part (like the 2010 models)? or upgrading the rear lights to LED?...(but they say the lights won't work) which is a shame as they're offering a discount on parts.
Any opinions would be awesome. Thanks in advance.

Welcome
A warranty is the sensible choice, as for an upgrade chip why not wait for that 'it doesn't feel as quick as it used to feeling' then if you want to chip it then
The RRS in standard trim has a lot going for it, i like tints so warranty would be my first choice (Kam?) and tints next
Don't forget a couple of photos MY10 3.0 TDV6 HSE, Zermatt Silver, 20" Diamond Turned Alloys, Factory Privacy Glass, Premium Leather, Contrast Stiching, Side Steps, Etc
