Agree Tim it shouldn't look like the fairground has come to town, but I saw one a while back with a spot disc of SS TP on the front wings and it really worked. Only 6" diameter max. Maybe if I saw the car as a whole I might agree with you, I am not one for OOT. |

Have to decide whether to put my private plate on the sport or not, it was specifically bought years ago for my bmw's, and it was featured in one of the bmw performance mags.

We don't do much serious stuff at this time of the year as the ground is too fragile, tomorrow I'm off on a gently jaunt with the SLROC on what they call a green road run - no offroading invovled, just drive to see the views and give the wagon a run as it has been shut away in a shed most of the winter. Don't like to get road salt on my nice new galvanised chassis!

Just for Tornado - minimal Checkerplate, only where it is useful! |

I decided that Tim was right. Short numbers look silly on the large style number plate. So I got a nice new one made today - and with a nice advert for the forum included.

I agree that the plate size should be in relation to the amount of characters on it, large plates with 2 or 3 characters looks out of place.
