2005 Range Rover Sport TDV6 SE Adriatic Blue

i cant get in

Hi there, my rrs 05 is locking ok with the remote but nothing is happening when i press to open it.
Can anyone help as im having to use the manual open on the passenger side

Is it the same with both remotes? They both need to be used, cause they are recharged when in use in car.

So where is the other key? Do you know this person? How do you know that after a few weeks that they will not steal rrs back? Did you do all proper checks on it? But i think its a trip to dearler to fix.

Sweetafton, that would be a tiny be obvious. If someone really wanted to do this then surely they'd get a 3rd key before selling it, sell it with 2 keys so as to not arouse suspicion, then steal it back.

Just a thought.

I had the same problem a couple of weeks ago, turned out the RF receiver (inside the roof lining behind the sunroof) got waterlogged because of blocked drain lines, about $400 for labour and part from memory...

Actually, just read your post. My symptoms were slightly different, I had no response when locking or unlocking with the keyfobs.
