one thing both countries have in common is crap roads,, the M4 is one big roadwork from Reading to the Severn Bridge, it was shut just past Cardiff on a friday night (9:30 pm) 4 weeks ago 5 1/2 hours from Heathrow to Rhoose , the A roads where one continuous series of potholes that we had to negotiate around to find another route. However not unlike the Pacific and national Route 1 highway here in Australia, which for a major highway is nothing short of a disgrace and a death trap.. Another Pommie Bar Steward down under
