General Election date?

Just heard on the news that yet another Labour minister / MP has accidentally let slip that the big day will be May 6th! I also heard one being interviewed on MoneyBox on R4 say that "of course when Laour get re-elceted on 6th may Shocked the next Chancellor will be forced to increase VAT to 20%.................... " If that doesn't put us well and truly into a recession I don't know what will Shocked 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Labour need to lose so they can blame the Cons for f**king up the economy when it slides into depression in the next 24 months - GB can then sit back and say he was fixing it all when the stupid voter messed it all up. Labour will then come back into power just when the economy picks up again. I hate to say this, but would prefer GB to stay in power just so he has to finally admit he is the one who's f**ked it all up

I nearly choked last night when I heard that the government had given RBS the OK to lend Kraft a couple of billions of our money to buy Cadbury and to loose a couple more thousand jobs from the midlands. Kraft were overextending themsleves BEFORE they made the increased offer to Cadbury. Not that present Cadbury management have been exactly good for the ccommunity - they made something like 7000 employees redundant over the last 5 years and the current CEO stands to pocket £20million from the sale of his shares! 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

RBS £ issue was raised in PMQ's Weds but completely sidestepped by GB - poor questioning really gave him upper hand again. Mandy's comments also were not used against them ....

they want to lose while pretending not wanting too - look at Obama now - he's been left with all the crap from Knob features two terms and now the people are blaming him for it all - this is what will happen to the next governmnt - GB is now playing the long game for Labour and all the Labour party know it, hence they wont vote him out.
