Im looking to buy a 2.7TD HSE shortly

Ive got a part X of a Merc CLK

Can anyone recormend a god dealership near Croydon/ Surrey area that likes Merc for part x's

Anything to look out for when buying a 2nd hand RRS??

Do all sports have the tow bar option??

Does anyone have astandard spec list for a HSE sport??

Hi Neil

Some cars will have the tow bar however all will have the basic prep

You would need a s/h towbar from somewhere (I paid 160 for an unused Disco one on Ebay) and the electric pack from a dealer, which was about 80 pounds and even takes an uncoordinated donkey 40 mins to fit - dont ask the dealer for a quote for fitting

Don't go near Doves Jag/LR/Volvo unless you want to buy a MAJOR load of problems and non-existant after sales service! I traded a Merc CLK cab for my RRS 2.7HSE. This was in 2007 (Oct). I dealt with Bentley Glasgow who are an Overfinch dealer. I got a 3 month old HSE with several extras and with 3,300 miles on it for £7k less than the nearby official dealer wanted for a new one. I also got a decent trade in price for my Merc with a bit of hard ball haggling. If you see a bandwagon - it's too late.....

Java Black HSE TDV6 O7, alpaca, FF sunroof, adaptive Xenon headlights, SC grill, black privacy glass, clear indicators, tow-pack, colour-coded all black.Gone, but forever in my memory. Until my new one comes...
