For the last 10 days I have been running the RRS on these wheels


After 10 days and driving 30 miles or more daily they have NO brake dust staining on them yet my normal 20" "Supercharged" wheels would be seriously stained with brake dust after that timespan/ miles. Anybody have any theories why? 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

I wondered if it was that.................................... because we have had plenty of snow, but I have still been keeping up the normal speeds and on the same route. Does salty slush on the road clean alloy wheels?! 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Now that you mention it, had a look outside at mine with the 19" wheels and they are a lot cleaner than the 20" would have been, and virtually no brake dust to be seen on them. Sons of dogs come hither and get flesh

did you seal or polish the alloys prior to storing them for the summer?

No Nick, just hosed them off and dried them, then stored them at the back of the garage out of the sunlight. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

I wish mine stayed clean

washed the car yesterday and they was filthy covered un grime and once jet washed off, wheel cleaner but was still covered in brake dust deposits

looks like they Re going to have to taken off and given a good seeing too
