I have a balckberry curve 8310 and it is supported for my VIN on the LR site to work with my PTI (factory fit)

However my address book does not appear on the screen and cannot be downloaded.

This function did work on my 06 FL2 so why not on a more expensive and according to LR a more exclusive car?

I find the Voice Recognition advice somewhat haphazard in that it is dated in the manual and the threads are quantative with opinion but not definitive in result. Most unfortunately tail off on 2007/8

I admit to not being a computer literate personand search engines amaze me but their use is limited to me inputting a basic question and receiving 100s of threads to look at.

My questions are:

Can I download my mobile's address book to the PTI,
Can I then use the voice command sysytem for that address book and how?
Do I need a dealer visit to upgrade the system?

I am up against time the car only has a full LR warranty until April 30th and Id like to get it in for all the updates and recalls I can before then.
