Hi all, so i have read all the official figures on mpg and even asked friends who are previous owners but there is an alarming difference! So was wondering what your own experiences have been? both around town and on the motorways/ A roads. Thanks. |

Those are the figures of the computer but so far the worst that its been out is just under 2mpg. The town figure is right though as I check it now and again from fill to fill. Ive a long motorway run coming up soon and will be surprised if its doing much under 33 on there.

Tim's right. The computer tells a different story to reality. My computer tells me I am averaging 23 mpg in town driving . Oh, how good would that be. Last fill up from empty to full in heavy town driving, calculated on actual mileage was 18.5mpg. Admittedly this was during recent atrocious conditions with the aux heater engine continually running and leaving the car sitting empty with engine and all electrical gadgets on regularly. I normally get 19.5mpg in town/heavy urban driving. Constant motorway run, she'll do 30mpg, no more (70 - 75 mph) 80 - 90 mph she'll do 28mpg. My mate tells me his does way better than this - but he only believes what he reads on a computer screen and is in denial to reality. If you see a bandwagon - it's too late.....

Based upon my last trip if i go by what i actually did, i got approx 970 KM's to the tank, 870 on the trip, 52 the next day going to work (urban) and then low fuel light then came on, which gives me anything from 50-70 KM's urban driving.
