A decent DVB tuner is about £300 with aerials (internal glass mount) plus fitting.

Really no risk... for the Nav-TV video input hack, it's all in the center behind Navigation/head unit.

No, that's either your amplifier or Navigation computer depending on what seat you are talking about. Very Happy

I'm talking about the center where the head unit (the "stereo controls") and Navigation screen is located.

United Kingdom 2006 Range Rover Sport SDV6 Autobiography Java Black

I had a chat with a guy from AI Audio last week about this and he kind of put me off these mods. He suggested that to watch any video source whilst movong required a hack that by-passed the motion sensing part of the SAT-NAV system.

He reckoned that it would mean that the SAT-NAV would become confused once you switched to vieo/tv source on.

Anyone know if this could be correct? It's finally gone! Replaced with BMW 730SE in Sophisto grey Xirallic finish with Oyster (Ivory) and black interior. DAB, Climate glass, Ceramic iDrive and gear selector, power boot and iPhone Bluetooth pack - luvvin' it!

I miss my old RRS "bucket" rattling around but it just had to go!

No, the Navigation system doesn't get confused by the Nav-TV hack. GPS and dead reckoning work as usual. Even all the "only safe while stopped" features are still disabled while you are in motion. Confused
