The latest whizzbang gizmo for your iPhone

Parrot have devleoped this http://ardrone2.parrot.com/parrot-ar-drone/en/index.html to go with iPhone and iTouch, pity the battery life is only 15 minutes. I can see it as being a great way to annoy the neighbours by spying on them. I also wonder what happens if it gets out of bluetooth/ wifi range.............................. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
2018 Melting Silver Mini Countryman PHEV - soon to be replaced
2015MY Corris Grey SDv6 HSE Dynamic, the best car I have ever owned, totally reliable only a cou0le of rattles in 3 years, now no longer in my care
Also in my garage is a 1996 TDi300 Defender 90 County HT made into a fake CSW

If the car radio/ handsfree phone system I bought from them for the Defender is anything to go by it will be available in about 12 months from ordering! I ordered in Oct 2008 for supposed Jan 2009 delivery and it finally arrived in September last year due to "software development problems"
I bought this http://www.parrot.com/uk/products/hands-fr...ot-rki8400 it should be installed by the end of next week! 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

I read somewhere that a development version was being sold for $1200, including the iPodTouch.

The Sunday Times InGear section has some nice gizmos in the Tech and Net section this week, as well as Clarkson's ultimate cars of the last decade. FFRR features as one of the best for the last decade but RRS is dismissed as "nasty and Cheshire-ish"! Also he says he bought a FFRR TDv8 as a result of doing an interveiw with
an eco-mentalist (that idiot who thinks we should all travel by carrot powered trains, George Monbiot) on the R4 Today programme! 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

I can foreseen one problem with it in the UK....................... is it a remote control helicopter?
IIRC you need to have a licence from the Department of Killjoys to have a radio controlled helicopter in the UK - a licence for the controller and a flying licence that says you can fly the thing safely. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Do you? Didn't know that... so you have to take lessons before you can fly one on your own? Confused

I have heard that RC Helicopters are incredibly difficult to fly so for public safety (read killing joy!) you have to know what you are doing with them. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

You don't need a licence, although there seems to be a competition/club licence. Porsche Cayenne S Diesel 66 Plate
