Anyone seen any 06 plated RRS yet? I like having an 05 plate - a bit of 'I've had it longer than you' kudos. Anyone on a 54 plate? (not retro fit.) 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

Yes, funnily enough saw an 06 plate on the A3 this morning. Java S/C... it was obvious he was a new owner, tootling along at 50mph in the inside lane. I expect still running it in.... Bless!

That spoils it a bit. The only point on picking it up on the 1st is to show the new number off. He should have driven around for a couple of weeks before transfering his plate. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

Heaven forbid to be seen without his private plate would be scandalous. Its out there somewhere. Second V10 Treg on the drive at the moment. |

Yeah i do that.. if im buying a brand spanker, i keep my plate off it for a couple of weeks, or tell the dealer to take their time transferring it, then wack them on, but if the car is second hand, then i get the plates wacked on first..

I get satisfaction enough knowing that anyone locally can't afford one whatever the plate on it!

For the first time in 20 years I've not got a private plate as I really didn't want the attention when parked in London......now my wife has followed suit. Anybody want to buy a bunch of cherished numbers (just kidding). Was at my dealer yesterday as the dashboard looked more like a disco light show with a big 'F' showing that I was up s**** creek. A bit of reprogramming and everything is all right apart for Logic 7, which is still rubbish.

I'm picking mine up Wednesday- it will have an 06 plate, but I've got my initials and name on it, so it's personailised too. I would have collected it on 1st, but I'm in Canada. Can't wait. Range Rover Evoque 5 door on order.
