Just did a search on the LR website. 1st editions Vesuvius Orange for sale £55,850-£58,000. What were they new? 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten
2009 Alaska TDV8 - Gone and much missed.

I think if you're going to go for a 1st Ed, you need to get the Vesuvius. Everyone (who's in the know) knows you have one then... the black or silver could be any other RRS (ok, apart from the Stormers but then they're easily bought aftermarket).
