2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey

How the hell did they manage to only do 25k miles in 5 years - it is a First Ed but the spec was not that special, except the Vesuvius which is great in the right light condition and awful on dull winter days! I doubt it is really worth £27k though. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Scotland 2010 Range Rover Sport 3.0 TDV6 HSE Santorini Black

As Tim hinted, my advice would be the same........... if you can afford it, buy one which is under 3 years old and thus within warranty.

if its an older x5 ie E53 then youll notice an improvement over the two cars mate, should see similar MPG with a supercharged sport compared to your 4.6is.

Bonus about with Supercharged are they are pretty well spec'd over the TDV6 at the same price, a decent TDV8 is a bit over 30k but if you can stretch to it then go for it i expect we will sell the supercharged after the winter and get a TDV8. ive had mixed feeling with my recently bought S/C and was strangely unimpressed but impressed at the same time.

Its a bit like pulling a supermodel and finding out shes a nightmare to live with an useless in bed. She looks a million bucks, you will attract a few looks and a lot of people will admire you but all that dont come without its problems. I found my X5 pretty much issue free and have encountered quite a few problems with my RRS, im a car person and spend my time messing about with old VW's so the issues dont bother me as much as someone whom maybe would have less patience.

If you want any prices give me a shout i can advise on retail prices which might help your hunts, on the down side (for you) used values are up around £500 (give or take) across the range in january's guide Thumbs Up

I see what you are both saying, I am going to have a look at it on Sat. so will be able to tell you more, but I know it's due a service, that's the reason i asked about them.
Have had a look at others for sale, in the same colour etc. and they are more, with a lot higher mileage.
I just love that colour.

I still think it is a nice car with good milage, with the right checks. Tim ask Jaymann about keeping the milage down. His SL has still only done 10K. Shocked

RRS has a service indicator that works on time/mileage - every 12 months or 15000 miles whichever is first, but the indicator also tells you. At a franchised dealership a service will cost between £350/£450 depending on type of service and consumables needed but if you are looking at a car more than 3 years old there are many Land Rover specialists outside the franchise network who have factory trained staff and all the kit and can service the car at a fraction of the cost as their labour rates are a lot less. Day to day RRS TDv6 2.7 should see 25mpg and on a long run you will get more than 30 if you don't try to be a Golf GTi beater, 4.2S/C is a wallet numbing experience for fuel
work on 12-15mpg, possibly 20 on a long run...................... 4.4V8 is not any better either. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Tim i thought the need to use Franchised dealers for servicing was dumped years ago in the EU/Britain. Were the trading laws not changed to allow Land Rover approved/trained companies to carry out even warranty work/servicing irrespective of age ?? Another Pommie Bar Steward down under
