buying a set of off road wheels/tyres

i've heard that GY MTR's are good tyres for off-road use (I have Toyo's on 20" wheels for general road use and posing.. which is 95% of the time.. the occasional off road use is Salisbury Plain green laning and maybe snow driving). So I am looking to buy another set of wheels for the occasional off road use (can swap them easily using my garage/tools) - question is if I choose MTRs as the rubber, what should I choose as the wheel?

Several of the big name manufacturers now make 20" Mud and Snow tyres suitable for RRS and D3/D4. The guys over on Disco3.co.uk have a section on their forums all about tyres so I recommend you take a look there. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
2018 Melting Silver Mini Countryman PHEV - soon to be replaced
2015MY Corris Grey SDv6 HSE Dynamic, the best car I have ever owned, totally reliable only a cou0le of rattles in 3 years, now no longer in my care
Also in my garage is a 1996 TDi300 Defender 90 County HT made into a fake CSW

I was always very happy with my MTRs on standard 19 RRS wheels. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten
