advice on new rrs

Hi All

Currently considering purchasing a new RR sport i note that the SE is considerably cheaper than the HSE is there much difference in equipment between the two, is the HSE worth the extra and are the effect on residuals values? Also what kind of discounts are available ive noted a number of online brokers are quoting 8% can this be matched or improved by dealerships?

Would there be any significant savings to be made from buying an ex demo as a presume they should be starting to come through the system.

Sorry for all questions but as a newbie this seems to be the place to get the best advice Very Happy

Stu

2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey

Welcome to the forums Cayman.

Less toys means less problems BUT there are some very nice and useful bits in the HSE spec that just make it a good all round spec to have. You think you can live without things like the chilled centre cubby box, but once you have had one you wonder how you lived without it on hot days! IIRC the vast majority of RRS's produced for the UK have been HSE spec. My last RRS was a launch SE with only the towpack as an extra, it was a great car too but now I have the HSE spec and am find the "standard" extras great. BTW it is never worth buying a lower spec car and then raiding the options list, you will always loose out at sale time when that comes - once an S always an S even though you have added most of the HSE items as options, although some are worth more on the used market than others 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
2018 Melting Silver Mini Countryman PHEV - soon to be replaced
2015MY Corris Grey SDv6 HSE Dynamic, the best car I have ever owned, totally reliable only a cou0le of rattles in 3 years, now no longer in my care
Also in my garage is a 1996 TDi300 Defender 90 County HT made into a fake CSW
